We do this by personalizing the student learning experience, inspiring students to gain new skills and competencies, and supporting students by giving them the best independent school teachers and partnering with their schools.

Students Collaborate with Each Other

Learning online is not a solitary experience at One Schoolhouse. Our students learn from and with each other and their teachers.​

Goal Setting & Core Competencies

Students at One Schoolhouse work with their teachers to set goals for the school year. Throughout the year, students reflect on their progress towards those goals. In addition, teachers develop competencies for each course. And, every student at One Schoolhouse works towards two competencies throughout the year:

Student Support & School Partnership

It takes a team to support learning and growth. Students meet with teachers through video calls when they need a conference, and turn to classmates for help on a project.  Every school we work with has a designated School Advisor, who checks in with students and tracks their progress. When teachers, schools, and One Schoolhouse work together, our students thrive and achieve.
