Description
The One Schoolhouse Summer Student Support Manager joins our diverse, joyful Academics team to manage our growing online summer school program for high school students. This position is designed for an aspiring or current independent school administrator as summertime employment.
The Summer Student Support Manager plays a vital role in day-to-day operations of our 300+ student summer school program, learns about the rapidly growing field of online education, and gains valuable professional experience in supporting students and their families. The Summer Student Support Manager contributes to mission-critical work; collaborates on a purposeful, openminded team; learns from diverse experts in the field; develops management and communication skills; and interacts with constituents from schools.
Responsibilities
The Summer Student Support Manager is responsible for daily student support for the One Schoolhouse summer student program. Specifically, the Summer Student Support Manager’s role includes the following responsibilities:

Experience: Experience in a role dealing with students and their parents/guardians required; coaching, camp leadership, or independent school experience preferred

The Summer Student Support Manager is responsible for daily student support for the One Schoolhouse summer student program. Specifically, the Summer Student Support Manager’s role includes the following responsibilities:
- Represent One Schoolhouse to a diverse group of schools, students, and families;
- Manage the day-to-day support of students and families in our academic summer program, including responding promptly and professionally to parent/guardian phone calls and emails;
- Gather, process and analyze student data in Canvas, Google Suite, and Salesforce;
- Manage the lifecycle of a summer student from onboarding through course completion;
- Draft, send, and respond to weekly student support messages;
- Proofread and prepare report cards for publication; and
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned

- Technological Acumen: Work effectively with learning management and data management systems, and use technology creatively to problem-solve and expand opportunities.

- The Summer Student Support Manager should be able to sit for long periods of time at a desk; type at a computer and speak clearly via phone; and communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
