Looking for an opportunity to get ahead this summer?
Motivated to complete a course in computer science or geometry, but don’t want to be tied to the daily schedule of a face-to-face classroom? The Online School for Girls is excited to offer for-credit courses in the summer, beginning this June. In the Summer of 2015, students can take eight-week courses in Geometry and Introduction to Computer Programming. Courses are designed for students willing to commit to 25-30 hours per week. And yet, because courses are offered asynchronously online, students have flexibility in when work is completed during a given week. Students will receive grades and comments in these classes, which are the equivalent of year-long, high-school level courses. Because of the pacing and intensity of for-credit summer courses, students must be available and have internet access for all eight weeks of the course.
